Summary
After a year of living with the ghosts, Alison had begun to think of them as her rather eccentric roommates, and even (in some cases) her friends. She’d begun to notice small things about them, too - things that made her smile, things that annoyed her and sometimes things she decided she just didn’t want to know about.
But some ghosts had more interesting (and more puzzling) quirks - things that seemed strange on their own, but, when put together, made a big picture that could actually end up explaining a lot.The Captain, for example.
(Basically, Alison wonders whether the Captain's 'quirks' are more than just quirks, and wants to help him figure out how. Am I projecting? just a little)

Crepus was dead
His father was dead
Kaeya didn't know how to process this. To process the fact that the man that took him in was no longer amongst the living. Couldn't process the fact that he had felt relief that his father had died without knowing the truth about his youngest. That Kaeya would never have to face the inevitable rejection and abandonment from a second father. Could not process the crushing guilt that immediately followed. He truly was a monster, wasn't he?
As a knight he was well aware of what must be done to monsters.
He just needed to tell the one remaining member of his family his most carefully kept secret.
He needed to tell Diluc the truth.
Then it would all be over.

Because yesterday was a carbon copy of the day before, excluding a few little conversation changes like people asking if he was okay and then things that changed because of his own actions, but Aizawa-sensei still died and then he threw himself in front of Asui and died, and then everything went black and he woke up to his All Might alarm again and-
And Izuku doesn't know what to do.

They both move the few inches to squeeze their hands together then, feeling the bloodstains that aren't there right now, but, more than that, feeling the body heat-warmth and knowing that the other is alive, present, with them. Right now, for a few moments, they're okay.

So tonight, frankly years after it was acceptable, Kaeya marched down to Master Crepus’ grave to honor him in the best way he knew. The Archons didn't deem his after worthy of a vision? Fine. Fine! He would mock them by honoring his father the best way-the Archon-less way! What better way to spit in Celestia’s face than that.
