Summary
Victoria Bainbrook always knew she would attend Everveil Academy. It was the premier academy for Spellblades, the greatest in The Empire. Only it would suffice for the scion of such a prestigious and powerful family. When she was born with Radiant-Blood her place at the academy was secured. But she will not disgrace herself or her family. She knows she cannot settle for second best.
Eirlys never would have guessed she would end up in a place like Everveil Academy. She wasn't anything special, just a nobody from the middle of nowhere. Sure, she was good in a scrap and had a knack for magic. That was how she found herself working as a mercenary. But to go from muddy fields to a place like Everveil shouldn't have been possible. She doesn't know how the academy heard about her, but she does know she can't let an opportunity like this slip through her fingers.
