"If he's not here in another ten minutes, I'm going back to bed," Genma says through a barely stifled yawn.
"If he's not here in ten minutes," Iruka starts - he does not bother to tell Genma that that's not how this works. "Someone is going looking for him."
Genma gives Iruka a stubborn glare before reaching up and touching the tip of his nose, somehow managing to make the ridiculous movement seem smug. Iruka blinks, and then understands the gesture and rolls his eyes.
Kakashi is late.

Taking the steps two at a time, Kakashi cursed himself for oversleeping as he rushed up the library’s staircase. He was late for his tutoring session which was something he looked forward to twice a week. The extra help had improved his grade in physics though he spaced out from time to time soaking up the dreamy looks of his tutor. The chocolate brown hair pulled into a ponytail made Kakashi want to run his fingers through the luscious locks to see exactly how thick they were. The tan skin the shade of caramel made him want to kiss every inch of it. The deep brown eyes that crinkled when his tutor smiled sent his heart into overdrive. He knew he should pay constant attention to the lesson but he couldn’t help it that his tutor was so darned attractive.
