"Volleyball," Kenma says shortly, ignoring their annoyed little sighs, and returns his expression to the screen. He's died. Figures.
After that he starts paying attention. More attention to the social aspects, at least. Kenma always pays a fair percentage of his attention to Kuroo. He sort of demands it. And. Kuroo does get a lot of female attention.

Summary
Somewhere in the back of Kenma’s mind, Kuroo Tetsurou always lingers. Of course he does, Kuroo is his best friend, but when he bought his house he subconsciously thought of Kuroo standing in that kitchen, working at the stove to make the two of them dinner, because Kuroo Tetsurou loves to cook and Kenma is so stupidly, hopelessly in love with him that he bought a house with a kitchen he didn’t need, all because he’d imagined a life that wasn’t his.
Kenma has loved Kuroo since he was thirteen years old, he will do anything and everything for Kuroo, and Kenma has long since accepted that Kuroo will never look at him in the same way that Kenma looks at him, and that’s okay with him.
Kuroo is his best friend first, and Kenma loves him unconditionally.

Kenma is irrevocably in love with Kuroo and Kuroo is jealous of Kenma's new cat.

Summary
Kenma has long believed that when the universe wrote his coding, there was a distraction as it was happening, and his coding was riddled with bugs as a result. The only other thing he believes just as strongly is that his love for his best friend, Kuro, will forever be unrequited since Kuro is straight.
Kuroo has been in love with his best friend for two years, but he's fairly certain that Kenma is both asexual and aromantic since he's never so much as mentioned finding anyone attractive, so Kuroo keeps quiet about his feelings to preserve their friendship.
It takes a very unexpected turn of events to finally force one of them to admit to their feelings.

Kuroo smirks and rolls his hips, just once, as a tease. Kenma whines behind the gag, eyes already mostly glazed over as he tries and fails to keep his hips still. Another roll of Kuroo's hips finds Kenma's sweet spot and he stutters out a broken moan, attempting to hide his flushed face in his bicep.
Kuroo immediately stills his hips. "No hiding, I want to see you fall apart for me."
