The fingers stopped at the clasp at the back of Hao’s neck and she felt the hairs stand up from the chill as she waited for her next move.
“Yes…” Hao managed to breathe out, her eyes barely open and her breath pathetically panting. She was hearing all of her favourite words, like a dog teased with a bone, and she shook in her own bones for it.
”Good.” Hanbin leaned in closer, the hand at the back of Hao’s neck pulling her own face closer too. She stopped once her lips ghosted the shell of Hao’s ear and she visibly trembled at the slight touch. “Because I want to fucking devour you.”
The three times Hao tried to get over her ex and the one time that it actually worked.

"Do you think I'm stupid? Did you really think I wouldn't see?"
"God, Hanbin, what are you talking about, do you even hear yourself-"
"You know exactly what you did." Hanbin let out an obscene snarl and his voice quietened down into a guttural hiss. "And I'm not having it."
The end of call tone echoed in Hao's mind and it took him several seconds to process what had just happened, his mouth agape in utter shock and mild embarrassment, his cheeks now slightly flushed and a light sweat threatening to break on his temple. His hand was still shaking as it dropped the phone onto the bed next to him.
Hanbin had never hung up on him before.
In which Hao got a little frisky on stage at their Macau con, and Hanbin saw everything.

When the opportunity arose for two close friends to take a trip overseas to explore ancient cities and towns, an adventure through the countryside, and to see a new historic corner of the world together; how long would it take for one to crash and burn and the other to run? Or perhaps, could the two run at each other fast enough to burn into one singular flame? After all, Hanbin's crush was ancient history.
Or, Hanbin invites Zhang Hao on a two week trip to Scotland; all because of a pretty pink castle.

Summary
It was a scorcher of a day—weather warnings for intense heat in place with thunderstorms forecasted later in the evening to clear the high humidity, advisories to stay indoors and out of the sweltering sun, and a fortunate yet also incredibly rare day off for both Hanbin and Zhang Hao as they camped out in Hanbin's new apartment to spend some alone time together.
It was just the two of them and a freezer full of assorted ice creams to keep them cool with the accompaniment of air conditioning that threatened to give out on them at any second.
In which during a heatwave Hanbin and Zhang Hao find a way to cool down.

The manager sighs, already tired of him. “Gyuvin. You are an alpha. Ricky is a beta. When you put your hands on him like this in an airport, people don’t read it as member skinship.”
Gyuvin frowns. “They think I’m bullying him?”
“They think a lot of things,” she says. “Some of them think you’re fighting. Some of them think you’re dating. Some of them think you’re doing alpha fanservice with a beta member, which I should not have to explain is a terrible idea. And some of them–”
“And some of them what?” Gyuvin asks.
The manager closes the tablet case. “Some of them are asking why you act like you know something they don’t.”
Ricky is a beta. Gyuvin doesn't treat him like one.

It’s too much. Gyuvin wants him to stop talking. This is only their second session and already Ricky has opened him up and found every tiny little bit of darkness he’s been hoping would go away on its own for months, and he feels too exposed.
“I think it’s a bit too soon for you to make that assessment,” Gyuvin says, and they both know he’s not talking about his body.
“I think I would say that regardless,” Ricky responds, with a bit of an edge to it.
or: Ex-Olympic hopeful Gyuvin attempts to move on with his life with physical therapy. Ricky is his physical therapist.
