Summary
Kim Namjoon is Jeon Jungkook and Park Jimin's adopted child. Although adopted, the couple decided to keep their child's family name unless their child wants the name changed.
Nothing was out of the ordinary until one day, little Joonie came home and asked Jungkook a question he didn't expect coming from a 5 year old's mouth.
"Appa, why isn't my family name the same as yours or Dad? My friends all have their dads' family name on them but why am I different?"
And that, ladies and gentlemen is how young dad Jungkook had to explain to his son about their situation at home with the help of his husband, Jimin.

"Be grateful for what you have"
That has always been the mantra of 10 year old Kim Namjoon. He was one of the lucky few to leave the orphanage. He was even luckier to have found a home with the most wonderful parents and 4 adorable brothers. He had stellar grades, 3 meals a day prepared with love, and so many books to read to his heart's content. Namjoon was grateful, but as he grew older, something was missing. There was a hole in his heart, yearning to be filled. All he wanted was to hear 4 simple words from his daddy and appa:

Summary
At first, Namjoon thought that all the notes he received were simply coincidental. He convinced himself that whoever borrowed the books before him left the notes there but that was until he actually caught the librarian slipping another note when he thought Namjoon wasn’t looking.
Namjoon pretended he was scrolling through his phone when he saw it, the familiar piece of paper being slipped swiftly by the librarian when he thought Namjoon wasn’t paying attention.
“So it was you slipping those notes” He whispered, making the librarian shriek.

Namjin au where Namjoon borrows some books and he get some special notes in return.

Summary
There is silence between them while Yoongi stares, while he scans every contour and detail of Namjoon’s face. And he searches his mind, trying to match this Namjoon to any scrap or recollection. Trying to find what everyone tells him should be there, over a decade of memories. Familiarity, comfort, love. But there is only a blank space.
“I don’t remember you,” Yoongi whispers.
Namjoon nods and bows his head, folding over the hands clasped in his lap. “I know I can’t convince you that we’re together, that we have been. But we are, Yoongi.” He peeks up at Yoongi, eyes pleading. “We have a life together, we love each other.”
And Yoongi still stares, something in his chest aching at the desperate, hopeful expression on Namjoon’s face. But there is nothing there.
“I’m sorry.”
