“Wade,” Althea groaned, dragging a hand over her face. “Jesus Christ, I literally walked in on you two doing the devil's tango the other day and you're asking if he likes you?”
“Come on, Althea, grow up. You know you don’t have to like-like someone to have sex, I do it all the time,” Wade said. “Did it all the time,” he added at a lower volume, realizing yeah, fuck, he’d hadn’t had sex with anyone but Logan in months.
“Oh my God, you are stupid for him, aren’t you? Fucking embarrassing.”
“This is serious!”
“If it’s so damn serious, then take it serious,” Althea snapped. “You’re goofing off, just like you do with everything else. So you tell me why I’m supposed to think this is any different?”
Wade opened his mouth to retort, then shut it, sinking back onto the couch.
“. . . because I think I like-like him,” Wade mumbled.
Althea sighed, shaking her head. “You’re such a moron.”
