Curiosity got the best of him, he meant to stroll in, scope it out, and leave, curiosity sated. But when he walked in, the timing must've been perfect. "—and-lag-in-my-output." Connor's voice speeds without pitching up when he moves again. He seems to catch the error and grits his teeth.
"I already know what's wrong," he says. He'd be pacing if you hadn't instructed him to stay seated. You let him vent, eyes tracking him.
"Right, your regulator's screwy," you agree. You turn in your chair to your computer. "I'll still need to figure out what the specific problem is. Your model doesn't exactly have spare parts mass produced everywhere, so I'll just have to repair what you have."
