Hoping to find his sister, he goes back to the Raccoon Police City Department only for him to run into rookie cop, Leon S. Kennedy. With both dead set on finding Claire and getting the hell out of the city, the two immediately partner up and promise themselves to get through this. Dr. Robby stops him with a hand on Whitaker’s waist, there and gone. “Really,” he says low, directly into his ear, beard scratching his cartilage, “that was amazing. You didn’t waste any time starting compressions. That probably saved that baby’s life. You saved that baby’s life.”
The praise goes to his head, suffusing him with endorphins. “Thank you, Dad.” And he promptly wants to crawl out of his skin and slither down the drain with the after birth slop.

This work isn't really intended to be a missing scene. It's more of an exploration of their sexual relationship. (Honestly, when do I NOT write about Louis and Lestat's sexual relationship.) In this fic, Louis bottoms for the first time ever. He'd never been on the receiving end of penetrative sex, and I hope I conveyed his feelings and needs pretty well in this fic.
I also wanted to explore a head-canon of my own that I have. I love Nicolas de Lenfent, don't get me wrong! But I'm a terrible creature, and I also love hurting my favorite fictional characters. The idea is this; what if Niki hated himself so much, he used sex with Lestat as a form of self harm? Lestat confides in Louis about this, and about other aspects of his past relationship with Niki. I hope you enjoy!
