This is not a revolutionary piece of writing, but if you like found family, Avengers living together, angst with a fluffy recovery, triads, BSDM, soft Bucky, canon divergence, and a badass but broken original main character, than you'll probably like this.

Peter looks away angrily, shaking his head in disbelief, “I’m not just some dumb kid, Mr. Stark. I can help, I know I can.”
“What can you do? Do you have any leads? Any clues? Something that makes you believe that you have a better insight into this guy than law enforcement does?”
Peter waivers, and looks down at his sneakers, “Well, not exactly but-”
“No but, there’s either proof or there’s nothing, sounds like you have nothing, Peter.”
“But Mr. Stark, I can just try to-”
“Look at me,” Tony demands and Peter hesitantly raises his eyes, “Promise me you are going to leave this alone. Let the police do their jobs. Take a step back from this.”
A serial killer is picking off teenagers left and right, but despite Mr. Stark's warning, Peter goes looking for the killer. For six months, the kid disappears without a trace, presumably taken and killed. Until finally the killer makes a mistake. Tony is left with more questions than answers, and the Peter he once knew is not the same. Westcott's done terrible things, and damaged Peter in ways no one could have imagined. But little does Tony know, Westcott's history with Peter goes deeper than his visible injuries.

You knew that working at a highly praised, fine dining restaurant in New York City was going to be brutal. You're a professional, but you're human, and some mistakes are bound to happen. Instead of allowing you fix it, your boss has it out for you and refuses to let anything go. Always finding a way to criticize you. He wanted to watch the fire in your heart fizzle away until you're completely burnt out on doing the thing you love most.
After you're fired you gave up on pursuing your passions in order to avoid slipping further into your depression, but when Tony Stark seeks you out and offers you a job there's no way he'd let you say no. He'd been a frequent guest at the restaurant, has had you cater for his parties, and he knows you. So after sending back a meal he did not like, and finding out about your firing, he had come up with an idea. The Avengers needed a live in chef, and you needed your confidence back. You accept his offer, the threat of your eviction not giving you a choice, but you have your own requests. Nobody can be in the kitchen while you cook. Only it doesn't last long until a couple of curious super soldiers start ignoring your one request.
