“Strong enough for Straw Hat, and crazy enough to accept his advances,” another patron mused. “There aren’t many people that can say they’d meet those requirements.”
“It’s pretty much just the Worst Generation, right?” someone else pointed out. Law scowled at his drink and wished Penguin wasn’t such a busybody.
“Makes sense. Those Worst Generation guys all seem pretty close. When they’re not trying to kill each other, anyway,” the bartender pointed out with a shrug. Law had to admit he was right, at least when it came to Luffy. The idea of Luffy dating someone in their exclusive little band made sense to him, too.Or: Five times Law was jealous of Luffy's mystery boyfriend, and one time he realized the mystery boyfriend was Law himself.

Luffy was the God of the Sun, and the sun was bright. Blindingly so. Luffy could hear the world around him, and he loved his people, but they could not hear him, and they could not see him any more than he could make out the details of their faces through the eternal, blinding sunlight. Luffy could get so close to his people, but he couldn’t interact with them, no matter how much he longed to.
Luffy was lonely.
Then the Dark Day came, and he wasn't anymore.
Or: Luffy is the Sun, Law is the Moon, and an eclipse brings them together.

Straw Hat didn't seem to mind. “Is it a cool story? Do we have to kick someone’s ass?”
Oh, how Law wished they were stuck in an action/adventure novel. Hell, he would even take a romp through a sci-fi story over… this.
“No,” He gulped, averting his eyes and hoping the red of his cheeks could be dismissed as a result from the frigid air. “It seems to be a… romance novel.”
Taken prisoner by the Big Mom pirates, Law and Luffy find themselves trapped in one of Charlotte Mont-d'Or's books.
