“You're like tiny little void birds,” he muttered quietly, admiring their white pupiless eyes—that he hadn't noticed before—from afar. They reminded him a lot of his own, almost eerily so.
One of the crows bounded up to him and craned its head back so that it was looking up at him. It stared for a moment, before letting out a loud CAW right in his face.
Spoke grinned, then lifted a hand and booped its beak with the tip of his claw.
The bird fluttered back with a squack that Spoke interpreted to be very offended, giving him a mean side-eye before turning away to go back to nibbling on some of the bread.
He looked down at the other half of the loaf in his hand, then back at the cacophony of avians that he swore were multiplying by the second.
“..I wasn't all that hungry anyways," he hummed, setting the rest of the bread down on the ground and backing away as he stuffed the plastic wrapping into his pocket.
OR
Spoke-centric highschool au and NULL are involved but they're a flock of crows (is that really the whole story, though :) ?) and they're all actually kinda really wholesome (also spoke is homeless wait what?)

Summary
As Spoke opened his eyes, he found himself on a cobblestone platform. Players around him panicking, pushing others and eventually pushing him. He froze in place as he took a look around his surroundings.
“What the?! WITHERS?!” He jumped, his body instinctively flinching away from the players moving in panic around him.
His inventory was empty, he had no tools to help defend himself. Not even an armour to protect him.
But then persistent questions started haunting him, completely overwhelming his mind. How is he still alive? He remembers falling into the void, surely that must’ve been his end? Why was he still here? And where was he?

Was this other him's doing? It had to be. The other lived and breathed chaos, if those stories of the Wormhole or whatever was true. He doesn't even believe it happened, not with how other him and Parrot seem so buddy buddy now. But… that glimmer in his eye… maybe it did.
Not that it was Spoke's business.
Did he drug him? He doesn't know of any potion that makes the drinker unbearably horny, maybe it's a this universe thing? Spoke didn't even drink anything that other him offered—"Only person you can trust here is yourself! A-and that'd be me! And you! So- so I made you food!"—but it's starting to become harder to focus on that.
