Summary
Historia's army of guards is stretched thin as she entertains diplomats for the evening. With none to spare for the Ambassadors of the Alliance, she sends them to Shiganshina to be hosted by a secret society of Alliance supporters until morning. Residents are on high alert as Jaegerists roam the streets, and members of the society have fled. With beds at a shortage, Jean and Armin are forced to share a room. Relationships are questioned as longtime feelings and shower steam hang between them, and Jean's favorite wine acts as the catalyst for new beginnings.

Summary
Jayce’s rescue would always lead back to Hextech’s invention. And with Hextech, people would always suffer and die for it. Good people, much more deserving than him.
So why?
His eyes flicked back up to settle upon his reflection on that stage, and a single thought rattled inside of his mind: Inventions cannot be unmade. But the men with the knowledge of making them certainly can.
He would do what Viktor couldn't.
OR: Whether on purpose or through an unfortunate mistake, Jayce had survived the ravine only to be sent back to his beginnings with Viktor. Given little other direction, he followed his instincts.

Summary
When Viktor finally asks why Jayce stayed behind inside the Anomaly with him, Jayce stares at him as though he’s supremely disappointed by the question— as if Viktor has betrayed his own brilliance by asking something so irredeemably stupid. “How could I not? We’re partners.”
Partners, Jayce calls them. Not for the first time, Viktor wonders: Partners in what?
