-Shane and Ilya are kidnapped on the way back from the cottage after Ilya goes to OTT
-Forces Shane to do stuff and if he doesn't do it right Ilya gets more hurt
-When they are finally rescued, Shane is psychologically damaged (only responding to commands and is otherwise lost/unsure) and Ilya is much more physically hurt
-They go to hospital and are very codependent for comfort and staying calm

Very few people knew that Shane Hollander was deaf. His parents knew, of course, sometimes his coaches, but very rarely did his team. Now in the NHL, only a couple of people knew. Ilya Rozanov being one of them. To everyone else, he was perceptive, quick on the mark. But can Shane really feel safe with a team where most of the players don't know he's deaf, and can't help him if something happens?

-Get together after tuna melt and Shane wants to leave Montreal
-Ilya told Marlow and Shane met Rose and they’re friends
-While staying at a hotel there was a fire and Shane and Hayden got caught up in it
-Firefighters got to them and took them to the hospital
-They often get disbelief that Shane is deaf
-Shane goes back to his parents for the holidays after being released from the hospital
-The family that comes over is rude about him being deaf and somewhat derogatory. They finally get dressing down from Shane about how he doesn’t care about any of them anymore cause none of them tried to learn or except the deafness (Yuna and David back him yep even though it’s kinda to late at this point)
-Some more tense family stuff and Shane goes back to MTL, he tells J.J.

Soulmates and trying to make it work
-Ilya has russian friends that helps him(Nikita and Mila) and his niece (Elena) and sister-in-law (Dasha)
-They love each other and Ilya is getting used to having a family
-Ilya is trying to figure out contract stuff and visa/passport/PR
-Ilya has his green card
-Nikita and Mila came to Canada to meet them and Ilya told Dasha about him and Shane
-They are trying to figure out how to play on the same team soon
-Ilya told team about a partner and Cliff about Shane
-Shane introduced Ilya to Hayden and Jackie
-they go to Paris on vacation and Sasha’s wedding
-They go through the Olympics (Shane finds out Scott is def gay lol) and Then Ilya wins the cup
-Shane proposes to the cottage very romantically and in russian and everything is great
-They talk about Ilya switching agents
-Ilya goes back to Moscow and one night Dasha and Elena show up bc Alexei hit her and then Ilya and Nika scare him off and he buys them a new flat for themselves (he wants to keep them safe)
-there are some locker room issues, but they win the cup, Shane and Ilya get married
