It’s dark. Only a small line of dull blue light filters through the little crack between the closet doors. The footsteps are still getting closer.
Jayce puts his hand over his mouth to muffle himself and peers through the crack. Viktor stays very, very still.
The guard’s stride slows as he walks through their hallway. He knows they’ve been here, but doesn’t know where they’ve gone. He passes their closet, and after Jayce counts exactly 30 steps, he dares to move his palm from his mouth and turns his head to check in on Viktor.
Only when he feels Viktor’s breath on his lips does he realize the position he’s put them in.

Summary
He’d been the one to start flirting and Viktor seemed to be unresponsive at first, either ignoring the comments or brushing them off. He was undeterred though, prodding bit by bit until today, when Viktor apparently had had enough and finally groaned loudly and pinched the bridge of his nose.
“Are you going to kiss me or not?”
It had been more of a demand than a question, even if it was phrased as such. There was a note of authority in his voice that Jayce loved, but it sparked something in him that wanted to push back. He was more than happy to oblige and he was going to make up for lost time.
Or: Jayce finally gets what he wants, and happily works around a curveball that Viktor throws at him.

The Man of Progress is a symbol and a carefully crafted illusion. Behind it, Jayce has been sinking. Until Viktor makes an offhand comment at a gala and the illusion completely shatters.
“Jayce,” Viktor says. “You’re bleeding.”
That makes sense, Jayce thinks, since he’d apparently just crushed a glass in his hand.
“You’re also not breathing,” Viktor notes. His voice is concerned now, and Jayce feels Viktor’s hand fall on his elbow.
Jayce nods, because that makes sense too. Or, no. It doesn’t make sense. He should be breathing. But Viktor is correct that Jayce is not.

Summary
“How do you feel about being called daddy? I think it may be… sort of cathartic for you. For more than one reason.” Viktor’s expression is neutral when Jayce pulls back to stare at him. Perhaps mildly inquisitive, at most.
Jayce, meanwhile, feels as if the floor has just fallen out beneath him. His brain fails to work—it takes several seconds for him to catch up with any of the words that Viktor has said to him. When he clocks back into his body, he does not expect to feel so aroused that he might pass out.

Viktor is going to absolutely murder Vi. Maybe everyone at this table, and then himself.

“Do you think you would be okay with overpowering me during sex?” His nail catches on the foil of the chocolate and Viktor’s eyebrow pinches in the middle as he focuses on peeling it back. He doesn’t notice Jayce’s brow furrow, or the way that Jayce’s breath hitches.
“...Can you elaborate on what you mean by overpowering?” Jayce says, looking at Viktor from the corner of his eyes. “I’m okay with pushing you around and moving you– we do that already?” His gaze is met by Viktor, who pops the piece of chocolate into his mouth, and he seems to think before speaking the next sentence.
“You do,” he agrees. He swallows the chocolate down and hums, mulling over his words. “What if we take it a step further, and you force me?”
Jayce’s coughs.
