When he decides on a whim to check out a coffee shop he never goes to—a tiny place inconveniently out of the way, purely because he had the urge to waste some time—he expects a quiet, unfamiliar space.
And what, or rather, who does he find?
Keum. Fucking. Seongje. Behind the counter. Wearing an apron. Smiling like the universe wasn’t actively playing a long-running prank on him.
And in that moment, Sieun realized two things.
One: the universe was out to get him.
Two: he should’ve stayed home and made instant coffee like a sane person.
OR: Seongje and Sieun unexpectedly having a heart-to-heart conversation in a coffee shop.

Euijoo throws his head back and Nicholas can only stare at the protruding jugular vein along Euijoo’s neck; he contorts his body and places his lips on it, sucking lightly, biting down slowly, eager to hear another choked moan escape Euijoo’s lips. Euijoo puts a hand on Nicholas’ nape—the sudden touch making it all feel slightly more intimate than usual. There’s a sinking feeling stirring inside Nicholas’ stomach from the touch alone.
He knows it’s not the time to think about how good Euijoo looks under him nor is it the time to think about the schematics of whatever they have going on.

In other words, a hopeless love story of two childhood best friends who didn't realise what it meant to have each other until it was too late; compiled of yearning, loss, forlorn hope, unrequited love, and every tragedy in between.
