Summary
Sabito is a curious and mischievous high schooler, so one day when he crashes a vendor’s stand in the market of their small country side town: he’s sent to close up his foster guardians convenient store.
When he’s locking up the store, he happens to catch a glimpse of what looks like a shooting star in the reflection of one of the glass windows on the shop. Sabito quickly turns to it and makes a wish. He waits for the star to pass him by, but instead it continues to fall toward earth! It crashes in field a few miles from the shop. Grabbing his bike, he races toward the crash sight where he finds much more than he wished for.

Every time he found a bit of happiness it never lasted, whether by his own hands or forces he couldn't control, whatever semblance of a life he had was violently ripped away. So when he finally found a place to call home and people to love he was wary, knowing that one day this fleeting family would be torn away from him as well. He just wished it happened differently, wished it didn't have to happen in a way so painful and cruel that it left his already fragile box of happiness teetering on the edge of a never-ending abyss.
