Later, a reporter, and, allegedly, coming from the opinions of others, a damn good one, too. Clark Kent’s girlfriend. Superman’s girlfriend.
Some roles felt easier than others. But still, she’s trying.

Arthur nods, and smiles at him. 'Well,' he mutters, 'if you ever get too lonely, you can come by my ranch.'
'And give you a hand with those horses. Lord knows you’ll need it.' Charles gets up, throws his cigarette to the ground and crushes it beneath the heel of his boot. 'Goodnight, Arthur.'
