Lavellan finally meets his hero--Fereldan's hero, the whole world's hero. Just some moments during the game between a fanboy trying to maintain his stoicism and a hero who can't seem to get through to people that she's anything but.
I replaced Hawke with Warden!Carver (because I think it makes more sense) and basically replaced the "warden contact" (Al/Loghain/Stroud) with Mahariel. That's more or less where the canon divergence begins and ends, though obviously it creates some snowball down the line.
