"How did you deal with the whole. Junk situation," Tim says, in his best professional Mission Report voice. Its success is kind of undermined with how red his face is below the domino.

He’s not sure when he first started noticing the difference, but he lets the vague unease prickle in the back of his mind as Tim gives him half a smile and slips out of the Cave after patrol.

“Sure, I’ll do it,” says Ren, still grinning. He does his own rendition of Ann’s eyelash bat. “Go out with me, Goro-kun?”
“I’m older than you, so show me a little respect,” Goro says crossly. “Our relationship is off to a bad start, Ren-kun.”(or: what not to do when you're fake-dating your real crush.)

Here, in this out-of-the-way sea-side town, no one’s looking at him-
Besides the painfully obvious Superboy hovering over the sand behind him. His presence is clear as day- his presence has always been larger than life, just like Superman’s is.
“I know the sunset’s pretty and all, but don’t you think there’s prettier things to look at?” Kon asks.

Or, Kon joins Tim out on the beach in order to tell him something. It's a hard thing to admit, in the end, but actions do speak louder than words.

Tim had smiled, a big bright thing that lasted all the way until they got back on the highway and Kon tried to fight him for the aux cord because like hell was he going to listen to the same Marina and the Diamonds EP for 57 hours.

Chuuya gives a sleepy grumble, patting the side of his head lightly. “Mornin’,” he slurs. “Lemme up.”
Dazai makes a disgruntled sound, tightening his hold on the other and rubbing his cheek against the skin of his collarbone.
“Up,” Chuuya insists, though he makes no attempt to move. It’s with that that Dazai knows he holds the power here, and he’s willing to wield it for as long as possible.
Chuuya wriggles slightly, but Dazai slings a leg over his hip, pinning him in place as he presses a light kiss to his jaw. Chuuya groans, going still, and Dazai knows he’s won.
Or: Dazai and Chuuya share a slow morning together. That's really all there is to it.

The hands dip down far enough that their fingertips breach the water, and that is when Chuuya decides he’s had enough. With a quick flick of his wrist, he sends a spray of water back over his shoulder, hitting the newcomer directly in the face.
The hands retreat immediately, an offended squawk sounding behind him.
“Chuuya!”
Like a child being denied its favorite toy.
Chuuya doesn’t even open his eyes.
“Hands to yourself, shitty thief.”
Or: Nakahara Chuuya is a detective hunting down the world's foremost master criminal. In a strange way, he's actually had him in his grasp all along.
