Summary
Denki was always different from the other kids around him, no matter where he lived. He was bored by heroes, and he had no interest in becoming one like everyone else. This was only further instilled in him after he was saved, not by a hero, but by a murderous vigilante. It stuck with him deeply, even when he was accepted into UA. He did his best to ignore his growing curiosity about the man who saved him, but when the Hero Killer: Stain started making the news, it became impossible for him, and his obsession with the villain was quick to form.
