Paying attention during class is a fucking struggle.
Tommy used to be on some adhd meds but since his step brother chugged the bottle to try and kill himself after an argument his Father doesn't want him taking meds for anything anymore. It's not like they really helped him much anyways; they definitely did not help with paying attention.
They just made everything feel a lot fuzzier now that he thinks about it. Tommy taps his pencil against the old wooden table he was banished to sit at when he cursed at another boy in his class for something stupid.
It isn't that bad though because his teacher moved tubbo next to him out of pity."Hey, Thomas were you zoned out again, hun?"
Tommy stares at her blankly for a moment before nodding his head.
There's another boy awkwardly standing behind her. She lets out a mix of a hum and a sigh and gestures to the white board, there are words that read 'group project' in bobble letters. He can't bring himself to wonder when it was written

Tommy gets stuck working with a weird gay boy that's been into him since six grade. He learns some interesting things about his sexuality.

Dream sighs and flops onto his back. his body is sore from the whole lot of lack in movement he's been doing cause of this whole three day break from work he's had. its the third day of doing nothing but laying around in the uncomfortable mattress that came with his apparent. he slides his thumb up his screen and closes out of discord. he gets on his app store and types in the overly generic name that is "talking creature"
Dreams thumb taps lazily against the download button, than again harder this time when the crack in the middle of his phone screen decides to be stupid. It takes forever to download but it isn't like that was unexpected. These kids games George keeps making him download tend to take up more of his phone storage than anything else on his phone. Downloading this one is making his phone heat up.
OR
Dream's online friend makes him download a stupid ai talking Tom rip off and he gives it trauma.

mister pertzl theif was quick behind him he can he the guy stumbling to get up and than pratically towering over tommy with his weird freakishly long proportions. tommy — still being a genius scrambles away as fast as he can move his limbs and the guy chases after him. tommys still pratically tripping over his feet. he runs passed that one clothes store with the noticable lack of clothes and falls face first on the ground two stores down at that one shoe place. before he can scramble himself back up the guy fucking tackles him. his sharper nails digging into tommys upper arm and shpulder with a kind of mean amount of force “hey hey wait calm down im—im not infected” the guy tries to ressure letting go of tommys arm and swinging his own arm around to show no bite.
it kind of helps not really by much the dude could be bitten in amillion other places for all tommy knows but at least he knows right now hes not gonna get his face eaten or something— not that he believes the guy isnt infected he just knows the guy definitly corrently a face eater “get the fuck off me man—” tommy groans but it comes out more like a whimper

Tommy goes on an adventure to find some snacks and gets tackled by a homeless man.

The guy slumps up. Tommy can see just how long his hair is now, he’d guess it’s around the guy’s mid back with it tied up in the messy braid it’s in—OR

Tommy felt like he couldn’t breathe as panic clawed at his ribcage and sunk itself deep into his heart. Surely Dream was kidding? Surely Dream would wheeze out a laugh and jokingly berade Tommy for how scared he looked, say that it was just a joke. “You’re going to TheFirstEmpire. You’re going to become one of Philza’s humans,”
It felt like his whole world had been flipped upside down and mercilessly shook.
Every part of him wanted to believe Dream was lying.. He wanted to beg, plead, get down on his knees and cry for Dream to do something because Tommy didn’t want to leave!He didn’t want to be some dumb peace offering to another coven! He didn’t want to leave Dream, even as mean and cruel as he could be.
