At the time I am posting this fanfic, there are ~3.2 million fanfics under the F/M tag, ~6.4 million under M/M, and... ~1.2 million under F/F. While I'm proud to see that queer people are flourishing in this environment, I find the lack of representation and diversity of the couples written about here extremely disappointing and disheartening. Like, seriously. A fucking 5 million difference. It's especially confusing when you realize 45.2% of users on here identify as women compared to the 5.9% that identify as men.
I'm not saying you should all abandon your M/M fanfics or ships as a whole. I enjoy quite a lot of M/M ships and fanfic as a queer woman. I'm just saying y'all need to be more aware of exactly why you tend to ignore F/F ships over M/M ships.Anyways, this is just a little fluffy fic of my OCs Idahlia and Evelyn after Evelyn (a gorgon) was attacked by a "monster" hunter. I may post more about them, elaborating on their lore and development. I may even draw them at some point idk.
