A Doom crossover. In which John Grimm avoids getting stationed on the USS Enterprise until they lose their CMO in the battle with Nero. Unfortunately, John as Leonard has a bit of a reputation for being a damn good CMO, even if he did not know about it.
A very serious canon divergence where I pick what I want from the AOS timeline with a bit of TOS sprinkled in there. John joins Starfleet a few years before Jim, and Vulcan is not destroyed.
