At some point, Joel pulls him close, mouth right up against his ear like he’s about to say something, but he doesn’t. His hands linger at Morgan’s waist, though, fingers curling just barely under his shirt in a way that’s liable to drive Morgan crazy.
Morgan doesn’t move away.
