Hershel has just won this week’s fencing match with Randall.
This rarely happens, which is a fact that Hershel is mostly content with. He knows that he’s a good fencer, and if his best friend is a little better than him, so be it. Randall has an aggressive edge to him when fencing which Hershel doesn’t have and probably never will. It usually gives Randall the upper hand, but somehow, today Hershel’s come out on top.
Hershel should probably be a little happier. But right now, he’s really quite worried.
His win means he gets to pick what the pair do this evening, and he has absolutely no ideas whatsoever.

Hershel has always been good at making things. He likes the way he can take random bits and bobs and fit them together, items that you'd never have thought would work well with each other. They combine to make something cool or fun or useful and it’s really quite amazing.
Also, Theodore wants to fly. Hershel knows this is an entirely ridiculous sentiment - humans can’t fly after all. But no matter how many times Theo is told this, he insists that he’ll be able to do it if he keeps trying. Mum and Dad and Hershel keep finding him jumping off the back of the sofa. Poor Theo.
Hershel is good at making things and Theodore wants to fly. Hmm.

.Tamaki brushed his hand against Kyoya’s, a force of habit, and was surprised and then dismayed when Kyoya ripped his hand out of reach. Kyoya’s eyes were blown open, cheeks tinged an agitated pink, and mouth forming a startled question. Tamaki swallowed back his misery and said, in his most cheerful voice, “Ah, you’re so dramatic. That’s how we behave in France, you know. Very affectionate.”
Kyoya rolled his eyes, a bit more at ease, but not quite as close as he was walking before.
And the whole time, in the back of Tamaki’s mind, was the chant: I love you. I love you. I love you.
