It's the apocalypse and Michael Wheeler finds a child that oddly looks like him and his family. Something feels off about the child but Mike can't help but feel responsible for him. He tries his best but day by day he loses himself to the truth he can't face, to a truth he doesn't know and the truth standing in front of him.
Or, Mike tries his best but he's just a traumatized kid that needs a hug, and it would be better if it came from a certain person.

There's a muscle flexing in his jaw, and if he puts any more pressure on his fan's guard, it's going to snap. Uh, actually, Shen Qingqiu kind of looks like he's in pain—
