'House sat at his desk, hunched over his paperwork and signing each page diligently before moving onto the next. It was a position with which Wilson was intimately familiar— when House was researching for a case or because there was some new and interesting medical development, he would sit wherever he could and scribble down notes to be cleaned and structured later. Wilson smiled a little at the sight of it and closed the door behind him gently so as not to break House's flow for another moment. Wilson waited until a few more pages had been signed before stepping forward and putting his hand on his partner's shoulder.
"House—"
He was cut off when House flinched away, nearly falling out of his chair with the force of it.'

'He looked tired. The rings under his eyes were dark and all of his body language read need nap now. But he seemed happy as anything, his blue eyes sparkling as he watched his baby look around. Odelia was bigger than the last time the fellows saw her, which was just after she was born. Her eyes were wide and just as blue as House's, and she made little noises in response to the stimuli around the room.
"This is where daddy works," he said, his low voice carrying through the open glass door. He turned his whole body so her gaze would fall on the conference room. "And that is where the four incompetent, idiotic, useless fucking doctors I employ kill patients. See?"'

Summary
'Wilson took stock of what was likely wrong using the deductive reasoning that he surely got from House— migraine, leg, exhaustion, hunger. Overstimulation, definitely, and a whole slew of emotions he couldn't process in this state. Frustration, anger, the grief over his patient by which he pretended to be unaffected. He did a good job of that, but Wilson knew him better.
"You're gonna have to tell me what you need, House," Wilson said to him. "I'm right here."
"You," House said, and seemed to choke on the word.'
