But Steve knows it isn't. The bitter aftertaste of the hateful words he's said is still lingering in his mouth. "No, just- It's not okay."
Dustin freezes.
"Eddie," Steve starts, the name ringing in his ears. "He saved your life. Our lives. And I know what he meant to you. I can't even imagine how hard it's been. But instead of just being there for you, I just..." he trails off, twisting the spear in his hands, absentmindedly. "Well, I got angry about it. I guess..."
Dustin looks at him, but he doesn't quite understand.
"I got angry, because things were different."

Daniela is in love with Sophia and has been praying about it for weeks, each prayer shorter than the last as her doubt grows. She doesn't know if loving a girl fits inside the life her faith (despite knowing that there is nothing wrong with liking one, there are no scriptures in the bible that says it is wrong) and her family have mapped out for her. On the sixth prayer, she says nothing at all.
Meanwhile, Sophia's mom had said that Sophia has no plans to find love, not until the end of their contract.
Only because Sophia believes there is no love in this career if it did not involve Daniela.

You’re so moon-coded, Yoonchae, Megan had said to her once, when they were lying on the floor of the rehearsal room, breathless and weary. Sweat and perfume mixing together in the air to form some kind of heady ardour that made Yoonchae’s eyelids go heavy and her breathing slow.
So Yoonchae had thought about it, really thought about it. Thought about how she behaved differently around Megan, almost as if she was taking her light and reflecting it outwards.
It was obvious that Megan was the sun. It should have been more revealing that Yoonchae was the moon.

He blinked a few times, watching the man on the ice, unable to turn away even if he wanted to. And he kind of didn’t, honestly.
The man spun for a bit before stopping suddenly and skating around, keeping his arms in the air and his legs steady. The expression on his face was neutral, save for the occasional furrow of his brow or the bite of his lip.
Suddenly, he jumped into the air and spun for what felt like ten minutes. Jisung’s eyes widened as he watched, and the man landed for a second but then he stumbled and fell right on his butt. Jisung rushed onto the ice without even realizing it, skating over to the man as fast as he could.
He stopped in front of him and held a hand out, watching as he panted and slowly looked up at him. He didn’t take Jisung’s hand as he stood, but he didn’t skate away– just watched Jisung’s hand retreat back to his side awkwardly as he took one of his earbuds out, “Um,” Jisung cleared his throat, “Are you okay? That looked like it hurt.”
