Summary
To a vampire, human food is about as tasty as burnt rubber. Yet, for reasons unbeknownst to her, Claudia finds herself returning to the same bakery every day to order baked goods from the insufferable young shop owner, Madeleine.
She wonders how long she can keep up pretending to enjoy these gag-inducing sweets before she inevitably pounces on Madeleine and drains her for dead. Because that is why she's here, isn't it?

Summary
After making a bit of a scene at a party the night prior, Jackie and Shauna come to school to find "faggot #1" and "faggot #2" painted on their lockers, to Jackie's absolute mortification.
While Shauna is content to ignore the incident, Jackie becomes obsessed with disproving that there is anything homosexual about her and Shauna's relationship. Her plan backfires horribly, but in exactly the right way.

Summary
The Bat-family can not, under any circumstances, have a normal fucking Thanksgiving dinner.
It definitely doesn't help that all of the following things are the case:
1. Bruce invited his sworn enemy/situationship/boyfriend (The Joker)
2. Lex Luther is nine months pregnant with a baby that is genetically Clark's
3. Bruce and Clark probably (definitely) have some unresolved feelings for each other
4. Jason brought his new boyfriend, former multiverse villain Superboy Prime
5. Tim unknowingly brought two boyfriends (one of which died at the hand of Jason's new bf)
6. Damian has a crush and is channeling it into Monopoly aggression -

Summary
Shauna Shipman is conflicted. She adores her best friend more than anything. In fact, she practically worships her. But that doesn't change the fact that she also resents her. Despite all of Shauna's efforts, Jackie Taylor always seems to come out on top, leaving Shauna to sulk in her shadow.
To make things worse, Shauna can't seem to get her best friend's soft lips and big hazel eyes out of her mind, ever since Jackie kissed her the night before their trip to Nationals.
When the Yellowjackets' plane to Nationals has to take an emergency landing, leaving them stranded in a nowhere-town in North Dakota for two weeks, Shauna must decide what is more important-- keeping a huge, friendship-ruining secret from her best friend, or finally taking her rightful place as the Yellowjackets' Queen Bee.

“What the **** just happened?!” she hisses.
“I don’t ****ing know!” he retorts.

Summary
Madeleine has taken to the gift like a duck to water. That's my woman, I knew she would. She likes to learn from me, and I like to teach her. I'm a good teacher, I think. A kind one. We bound about the fields surrounding the cottage, practicing her new vampiric speed, jumping around from tree to tree and rolling over each other like kittens. There hasn't been a day since we arrived where my cheeks haven't ached from smiling.
Excerpts from Claudia's diaries as she and Madeline build a new life together in the country.
