Summary
“Tomorrow, I might knock on your door again,” Aziraphale says, and it’s so quiet that Crowley has to strain to hear him. “I… I want you to read this before that happens. Should I not come, I want you to know why. A-and what I wanted to say tonight, you deserve to know it.”
He schools his expression, bringing it back to his annoyed one he had on earlier. “I don’t want your apologies if you’re going to leave. S’useless, isn’t it?” he grits out, putting a hand on his hip.
It’s only for a second, and Aziraphale looks back at him with a small smile. One that doesn’t reach his eyes, and one that is full of utter devastation.
“You’ve always been the best of us, Crowley,” Aziraphale says quietly, and Crowley closes the door.
When Aziraphale falls from grace after stopping the Second Coming, it's a slow, painful process. Crowley picks up the pieces, and holds him together.

Summary
Upon waking up from the Neo-World Program, He had found himself juggling a new sense of identity, Hajime’s memories and personality flooding Izuru’s brain. Despair flowing away like rainwater down a storm drain, He had hope.
However, that hope came with a choice, who was He? His memories as Ultimate Despair remained clear as day, the name Izuru Kamukura ringing through his head. And yet, he felt like Hajime Hinata, his feelings, his thoughts, his desires- all of this giving him a feeling of completion.
In a sense, Hajime Hinata had died years ago, his Neo-World persona simply scraped together from Izuru’s consciousness. A simple rewind of the Izuru Kamukura Project.
“Hinata-kun.”

Summary
This story starts twelve days after Hajime's awakening from the Neo World Program, which was presumably just a simulation, a show to raise awareness of the Biggest, Most Awful, Most Tragic Event in Human History, an event that took place a century ago. From that moment onward, Hajime and his friends, who have already gotten used to their 'original' talentless lives, keep questioning their identities more and more. As time passes by, they gradually uncover all of the lies they were told.
REWRITE NOTICE (as of 2025): There are a few problems with this story (which are the reason I stopped updating regularly), so I'm doing a total rewrite (though I might recycle some scenes and chapters if possible).
