Summary
Call it any number of things, fate, luck, sheer fucking coincidence, but he’s in the right place at the right time to catch someone hollering about Gold Roger’s son being put up for sale.
Even if it’s all a pack of lies, no kid deserves the fate that’s coming from being a look-alike with Roger. Shanks finds his feet moving of their own accord, the whole world narrowing to just this thin, insipid man, beaming from ear to ear as he talks about an auction for a child.
“What,” Shanks drawls in his best ‘Saint Fearsome Figarland’ voice, “Is this nonsense?”

Peering upwards, Luffy saw Jinbei at the helm, mouth agape in awe as he gazed skyward. Sanji was likely still cleaning up from dinner, and Zoro was more interested in weight training than stargazing.
Which left one person still unaccounted for.”

Summary
Each time Nami gets to wear the straw hat, she shares her dreams with the woman she doesn't know.
The stranger's posture is elegant yet gracefully relaxed, with no tense shoulders in sight. Strawberry blond hair frames her slender face, and Nami distantly recognizes dark freckles on her cheeks and nose. She also remembers the brownish eyes, but, strangely, not the serene look in them.
The dream and the woman stay with Nami through the years to come, and are always the same. Or, is it so?

She does not like being reminded of her history. Of being chained, and branded, forced to suffer for the pleasure of others. She especially does not like being reminded of feeling helpless to protect her sisters, suffering alongside in the same hell.
All of which is to say, when Hancock kicks down a heavy locked door, and finds herself staring down at a child holding himself braced in front of two others, her stomach swoops unpleasantly.

Ace can see the realization hit his little brother in real time. It’s the moment the marines caught them back home all over again, but worse, because this time he can see the look on Luffy’s face, the twisted up emotion-

One final punch and it should’ve been over. Blackbeard defeated, the crew victorious, Luffy smiling like always… until a black hole opens and sucks him into another universe.
Usopp, ever the brave (and slightly panicked) sniper, jumps in after him—because leaving your captain behind isn’t an option, especially when he’s your brother in all but blood.
Now stranded in a world where the Straw Hats died early, Usopp and Luffy are falling (literally) into a battlefield they don’t recognize. And back home ? The rest of the crew isn’t sitting still. If getting Luffy and Usopp back means defying physics and dragging Vegapunk into it—so be it.
Too bad the people in this new world have no intention of letting either of them go.

Zoro’s face was set to a stony expression as he fully took in the chaos of his crew tearing each other apart, then his gaze slowly made its way back to Luffy’s form. He unsheathed his sword and put the blade under Luffy’s chin, the sharp end a millimeter away from cutting skin.
Nika grinned wide. “I’ve been waiting for you to break.”
Nika was never a good guy. It takes Zoro a bit too long to realize that his captain had been slipping.

Summary
Law thought Nami was the only one with sense aboard the Thousand Sunny, distrusting The Surgeon of Death as she does. In a blink he could kidnap her; steal her away from her captain and crew and do any number of wicked things to the helpless navigator. The defiance she shows him only serves to make the thought more enticing. She's playing a dangerous game, and so is he.
Good thing Straw Hat Luffy isn't as oblivious as he appears.
