Karamatsu, Choromatsu, and Jyushimatsu are what's called Dream Beings, creatures(?) that take care of dreams. From creating them, to spreading them, and eating the bad ones. They're in charge of Akatsuka Ward and all its people, its dreamers. That includes their other halves, considering they're sextuplets.
Nah, the other half of those sextuplets are just regular humans.
