"It's more complicated than that," insists Red. It's like pushing against a brick wall. "I can't just drop everything and run away with you."
Purple begs; terrible and wretched and vulnerable, all in one raspy syllable.
"Why?"
Or, a week after Red signs the NDA, Purple breaks into Red's place in hopes of running away together.
