Summary
After Sakura’s untimely death, Sarada is left in the care of the Uzumaki’s. While she is grieving, she is growing used to her new life and is finding comfort with the family who so kindly brought her in. However, when news that Sasuke is returning to Konoha after all these years, Sarada has to face the complicated feelings she has for her father, and whether it is worth it to find a place with her wayward dad or to lull herself into her life with the Uzumaki’s.

The action was almost reminiscent of the way the boy at the store had surveyed her; but she didn’t feel the least bit shy under Ryuji’s careful watch."
Ryuji needs to make sure Taiga understands that she's as much his as he is hers.

Her house is made of sharp corners and whispered phone calls and hands that are too tight around her wrist.
Her home is made of dark hair and broad shoulders and an intimidating face that hide a soft heart and warm hands as they push an extra bowl towards her, tie her hair back, tug at her sleeve when she’s not paying attention.
