"Where are your parents?"
Satoru elects to ignore that question. "It's about your wife."

Satoru dies in winter in Shinjuku, twenty nine years old, and it's not on purpose, and it's not unwelcome. And then it's spring in Kyoto, he's thirteen, and Itadori Yuji has just been born.

An encounter with a man dressed in red and gold turns his life upside down and drags him away from his peaceful life and the ghosts of his past.
Will Phainon finally allow the gears of his life to turn once again? Or will he find himself stuck drowning with the ghosts of his past once more?
