Summary
Imogen (OC) has been living in England for the last 8 years, cast out from Swedish high society after her mother's death and her father's indiscretions. After yearning for a chance to return home to Sweden and attend her mother's old school, she is offered a deal by the Queen Kristina herself; construct a romantic relationship with her childhood best friend Wilhelm that can be revealed to the press, and in exchange, Imogen can return to the life she has so long been excluded from. Imogen accepts the deal, but quickly learns that the emotional damage that Wilhelm has suffered is beyond expected, and she struggles to determine if she can continue with this plan in good conscience. Will she be the bad guy in her own story, or will she be the friend she ought to be?
