Summary
During a chance encounter, Kyle’s life is saved by a stranger with whom he shares an inexplicable connection. He soon learns that Stan is nothing like the other teenage boys he knows, and that Stan is the same boy he’s been having dreams of long before they even met. Thanks to those dreams, Kyle is convinced that he and Stan must belong together. That Stan is far from harmless (something Stan makes abundantly clear at least ten times a day) is irrelevant to him.
In the meantime, Stan discovers that for some reason, malevolent and powerful forces want to see poor Kyle dead. Despite his own inner demons and the conflict between his past and present self, Stan resolves to protect him at all costs. While the two boys try to solve the mystery surrounding Kyle's predicament, Stan needs to cope with the fact that he's become the very same thing that once took everything from him. Can he ever redeem himself or is it too late for him to rewrite his story?
