Anyways, they eventually ended up dating, and did Izuku mention that it was the greatest thing to happen to him during his seventeen long years of living?
But… thing was… this recent shift in dynamic rekindled a little befuddlement… concerning the gender of a certain Bakugou Kacchan.
Don’t get him wrong! Izuku knew Kacchan was a boy!
Well, unless he actually wasn’t—in which case Izuku would support him in any way he could!
But, he was confused. Because some of his memories were contradictory to his previous, unquestioned assumption that Kacchan was, and always was a boy.
And, he was confused because the image of toddler Kacchan with pigtails tied with little pink bows surely sounded like one of his fever-induced hallucinations.
Izuku was sure Kacchan wasn’t transgender—at least, he thought.

He should stop, he really should. Running on this little sleep over such a trivial, pathetic thing was unhealthy—yet he couldn’t help himself. He really, really couldn’t. It was fucking pointless; this had been going on for years, and he never once managed to stop doing it. Katsuki was diseased, ill, rotten. Plagued. He lived in Katsuki’s brain—a fucking parasite—worming into his psyche, crawling between cerebrum. He made his stomach churn with acid, his blood boil, his heart hammer with every slight shadow of green and curious glint in the moonlight.
It was his fault. Katsuki hated him.
Every evening, at 8PM sharp, Bakugou Katsuki retreated to his dorm room, and thought about Midoriya Izuku.
Katsuki didn’t go to bed early for the reasons people would typically expect.

“Do you even remember my real name, dumbass?”
Izuku choked, eyes widening in panic.
“Of course I know Kacchan’s real name!” He protested. “There’s no reason I wouldn’t know Kacchan’s real name! I see it everywhere! I’ve known Kacchan my entire life! If I didn’t know it, that’d be really silly of me, wouldn’t it?”
Bakugou Katsuki. He thought. See, he did know Kacchan’s real name!
Kacchan, however, only narrowed his eyes further, his mouth curling up into a familiar, cruel grin. Izuku felt the blood drain from his face, because he knew exactly what that look meant, and he most certainly wasn’t prepared.
Kacchan crossed his arms, leaning back in satisfaction.
“Well, if you do know my real name, prove it.”
There was more than one reason Izuku never used Kacchan's real name.

Izuku sniffled, bottom lip quivering. He shook his head from side to side, tousling green curls. He really didn’t have a clue what they had to do.
“What—what do we have to do, Kacchan?”
Kacchan rolled his eyes, as if the answer was the most obvious thing in the world. He returned his gaze to Izuku, and opened his mouth.
“We have to get married, duh.”
Izuku’s special-est person—Kacchan—demands to marry him one sunny afternoon in preschool. Izuku is more than happy to!

Shouto huffs a small laugh, and then he smiles. Quiet falls into the night, and Katsuki almost thinks Shouto thought he was joking. But after several minutes, he speaks again.
“Sure, Major Dick,” Shouto says, “Let’s be roommates.”
