Summary
Like whisky, Robert Goren was an acquired taste. He knew it. She knew it (as did anyone that spent time in his company).
But Alexandra Eames liked whisky.
This story explores the deep bond between Eames & Goren. It covers the events of the series and beyond (including their interim absence during S9) with one major change. Eames's pregnancy in S3 wasn't a surrogacy for her sister. Instead, she chose to have a child on her own.
And Bobby learns to reevaluate a poignant question—is it too late?
Longfic. Slowburn. Unabashed Goren/Eames.

Summary
Looking down at the damp concrete, Dana stifled a sigh. Well, there were definitely worse things to get on her scrubs than rainwater she thought as she sat down next to Santos.
“What’s going on, kid?”
Santos looked away, eyes dropping to her hands as she picked at the skin at the edge of her thumbnail. “Bad case,” she said tonelessly.
“Wanna talk about it?” Dana took a drag of her cigarette, turning her head to breathe the smoke away from Santos.

Summary
Trinity is back from LA. She said the words. Signed the forms. Told the truth.
Now she’s home, back in her own skin — but it doesn’t fit right. Her stomach’s twisted, her brain won’t stop replaying everything, and the mirror keeps lying to her face. She’s fine. She’s always fine.
Then she goes back to work.
And the worst day turns into something else entirely.
Featuring: mistakes and blunders, a knife, a chest tube, someone else’s blood, and a body that picks the exact wrong moment to break.
Or: the one where she remembers why she stayed — just in time to fall apart.Series

Summary
“I usually have pretty good judgment,” Garcia continues. “I stay calm, I think clearly, and I make logical choices. But when you came to me with extremely reasonable concerns about someone I’ve worked with for a long time, I snapped at you and shut you down. You deserved patience, and advice, and respect,” Garcia admits, “and I’m sorry.”
Trinity takes a moment to digest all of this, then nods a little, then takes a half-step closer as a sign of trust or whatever. “Thank you,” she says quietly and finds Garcia’s eyes. “I really… I appreciate all of that. Thank you.”
She watches Garcia’s posture relax slightly, then watches Garcia take her own small step forward, then watches Garcia’s expression shift into something that makes Trinity’s breath catch.
“Can I make it up to you with a cocktail?”

Summary
“PTMC emergency command center,” announces a tinny voice from the small speaker below. “How can I help you?"
“We’re stuck between seven and six,” Garcia tells them, words surprisingly strained as she keeps a white-knuckle grip on the railing. “Orthopedics and Maternity. Trying to go down to Surgery and ED.”
(Honestly, Santos is more focused on the “we” of it all.)
“Is anyone present having a medical emergency?"
“No,” Garcia says after a noticeable beat of hesitation.
