Summary
In most universes Scott McCall follows his best friend into the Beacon Hills Preserve and is bit by an Alpha werewolf. This is not one of them. When Stiles is attacked it changes the world dramatically. Not only does he have different priorities in mind when it comes to the serial killer on the loose, but his coping skills are put to the test without a lot of help from his friend. Never mind that weird, hunky Hale guy who can't seem to leave the shadow of his past behind to focus on the present problems in a productive manner. Well, at least his Dad's in the know. Imagine how awful it would be if he wasn't, right?

For Rick Grimes that means a lot of hoarding whatever they can carry and keeping people alive as long as possible, no matter who they were to him. Somehow, even without his past, he is still the leader his people need him to be. Whether or not they'll let him succeed only time will tell.

There's something about this girl, like looking in a funhouse mirror a third of his size. “Oi, kid,” Toji says. “It’s you, isn’t it?”
The girl glares daggers at him from behind a pair of red-rimmed glasses too big for her tiny face. She’s looking at him like he’s totally crazy, which isn’t entirely untrue. “Huh? Who the heck are you?”
In lieu of answering, he asks, “What’s your name?”
The girl scowls. “Maki.”
“Maki,” he repeats, and it’s like a missing piece of his soul falls back into place. The record of his life before he fought the Six-Eyes brat is a long, impossibly white scroll of nothing -- but written on it in faint letters is the name of a child, a child with a delicate name that brushed the heavens, spun a prayer into letters; a name that began with an M, and it ended in i, too.
“Maki,” he says again. “I think you’re my daughter.”

Anakin and Obi-Wan run off together (dramatically), Dooku makes better choices with his life (mostly), Palpatine doesn't get why nothing is going according to plan (constantly), negative things happen to Temple furniture (accidentally), and the galaxy is never the same again.
[ Dooku signs a treaty, Anakin adopts Yavin, vod'e, Force ghosts, rescued slaves, Force sensitive children and families, and anyone and anything else he can convince to come with him. Obi-Wan just rolls with it with an annoyed sigh. ]
