Donghyuck bends forward, knees buckling in to squeeze Mark’s shoulders between his legs.
“Don’t worry, hyung,” he teases, baby-voiced and all up in Mark’s ear. “I’ll treat you like a princess.”

He glances at Haechan from his peripheral view and sees the brunette simply gazing at him with a blank expression, but Mark knows the gears are turning in his head. Haechan’s eyes flicker back and forth between his eyes and lips and Mark feels himself shrink in his own skin. The younger boy readjusts himself on top of Mark, back hunched over and mouth hovering just above Mark’s ear.
“Don’t run away hyung,” Haechan whispers and it comes out as a low rasp.
“Wha—”
Mark turns his head to face Haechan when he is met with a pair of lips gently pressed against his own. They’re soft and fit perfectly almost as if Haechan’s lips were carved to slot themselves with Mark’s. Mark squeezes his eyes shut, allowing himself to be completely and totally lost in the kiss. Just as he is about to move his own, Haechan pulls away, but it’s slow and his lips linger.
Or; Mark finally let's Haechan kiss him.

Summary
It’s exciting. Exhilarating, even, with Haechan as the final destination and he can’t help but enjoy the rush of blood that pumps through his veins. He’s confused, lost, and yet, the image of the younger male keeps his body going. With every stride, he grows more uncertain; the dim street lights offering only a flicker of comfort as they lead the way down a path and towards a small park.
And Mark wants to believe in himself. He wants to believe that he knows what he’s doing, but he’s so so terrified.
Terrified of what Haechan will say. What he’s thinking at the moment. Terrified of how Mark will mess this all up. But still, he continues to move forward. Because at the moment, all Mark wants to do is be with Haechan. And maybe that’s enough.
Mark wants this to be love. He’s trying so hard to make this love.
Or; Mark gets off work late at night and Haechan keeps him company on the phone, leading to internal feelings bubbling up to the surface.

Summary
NCIT's new "Strategic Excellence Initiative" is a fancy way of saying they're gutting everything students actually care about to build a donor lounge.
Mark is a well-liked editor for The Margins and is running on spite, cold coffee, and a close-reading assignment that was due three days ago. Donghyuck plays hockey in a training room held together with tape. They're not supposed to make sense together – until a house party joke and a tipsy dare turn them into NCIT's least expected power couple. Arts and athletics, united at last.
The attention is exactly what the anti-SEI coalition needs. The problem is that, as the coalition grows, Mark and Donghyuck are running out of ways to pretend this is still fake.
Oh, and Donghyuck has been living a lie – the campus knows him as hockey's biggest menace, who allegedly hooked up with two people in one night at some party freshman year. But no one really knows who Lee Donghyuck is behind closed doors.
