"You might have to patch this part," she said, indicating to a part where the fabric had worn thin. The tunic was made with good material, but anything would start to show its age after 100 years of existence and then some, especially considering how extensively Link used it. Some parts of it were noticeably a lighter shade of blue than it had originally been, bleached by the sun, whereas other parts were considerably thinner and more fragile.
Link frowned. "I don't like patching it. The color is too hard to match, and I can't find any fabrics that look work with it."

Summary
Link makes a bet with his friends about the mythical sword in the forest north of the castle. Not only does he win the bet, he also gains a lot of other titles and responsibilities, such as becoming the Hylian Champion tasked to defeat Calamity Ganon when it inevitably returns alongside four other Champions from all corners of Hyrule. In order to defeat Calamity Ganon, Princess Zelda needs to awaken her sealing power... which proves to be easier said than done.
This is story detailing what happens before, during, between, and after the memories found in "Breath of the Wild".

What if instead of ending up in the same time as her he was thrown into a different time?
A time that the rest of the chain just so happens to currently be in.
How will the chain react to an injured Wild being thrown at them?
And how will they help save an injured wilds life?

Summary
After 100 years, Calamity Ganon has finally been sealed away. Zelda has returned to the mortal plane and Link; Hero of Hyrule, is right there beside her. Surely acclimating to this whole "being a person" business will be a cinch, right? It's not like Zelda died after all.
Link may not be the same boy who went into that shrine all those years ago and Zelda is certainly not the same girl who prayed to the Goddess Hylia until her voice gave in, but she can't help but find comfort in the many ways Link is still the same, even if he doesn't know it himself. Even though the whole world has literally fallen to pieces, he's still there, steadfast and devoted as he was at the very beginning. Or so the legends claim.
That being said, she could do with knowing what she's supposed to do now.

The world was quiet around her as she laid on her back, watching the sky moving above her. Nightfall had doused the skies a deep violet-blue, but the edges were beginning to turn stark black, smattered with endless glowing stars. Some sky islands floated lazily above her head and she found herself smiling a little, though the expression was melancholy.
“You’d never agree with me, though,” she continued, a soft huff of laughter escaping her. “I can see it already.” Zelda lifted her hands, creating a sort of makeshift picture frame between her fingers. “The slight frown you’d wear, you know the one. Where your eyebrows knit and crinkle together and your nose wrinkles.”
What she would give to see that expression again.
