Summary
The Calamity strikes, and the Hero falls. 100 years later, he awakens into a world that hates him. He travels around, in the company of a strange wolf, trying to atone for his failure. He succeeds. He defeats the Calamity, but he still fails, in the end. He was too late, and Zelda dies as he fights. Months later, when he is wandering the wilds of Hyrule, a portal opens, and eight strangers fall out, asking him to join them on a quest.

In the mess of clashing metal and screams coming from the Lizalfos, it was difficult to hear much else. Wild was lucky he was off to the side, mid-arrow notch when he heard the cry.
“Wild! Help!”
Before he could so much as turn his head to see who was calling for him, what had happened, Wild was suddenly thrown headfirst into a memory - his first in what felt like years.

Link was having…..a day. You could certainly call it that, sure. He had, in the last 10 minutes, watched, not one, not two, but eight people stumbled out of a magical portal from who-knows-where. Now link was no fool, these people were 100% enemies and here out to take Zelda.
This probably will not be updated again, when I started this I had no real plot in mind. I have a second fic out, (the writing is much better)

“Woah,” Four breathed, and Time was inclined to agree with him. The land in front of them was … destroyed, for a lack of a better word. The grass was trampled down into the mud. Trees were strewn across the ground, some of them simply knocked over, others blasted to pieces. There was a smell of ash in the air, and the place seemed strangely dead like even the birds and critters had fled for their lives.
“What do you think happened here?” Twilight asked.The Chain goes through a portal and finds a ruined era on the other side. Wild has a bad day, and Time talks with him about it.

He jumped. Twilight was standing behind him, his brows furrowed in concern.
Hyrule was sleeping soundly not far away, clearly exhausted from healing everybody that needed it. They typically kept most red potions inside of Wild’s slate, and he knew they were running low on both the bottles and the proper ingredients. It would be a while until they returned to his Hyrule. They couldn’t afford to waste their resources.
Twilight was staring expectantly.
So he made a decision.
“I'm fine, Twi."OR,
Wild gets stabbed and decides to keep it from his brothers as to not be an inconvenience. But the charade doesn't last forever.Series
