He watched the snow fall for a moment before Kenma joined him. Kenma busied himself running his fingers through Hinata’s fluffy hair. “Bath first. Then we’re getting dressed. I’m taking you out for breakfast.” He said against Hinata’s ear. Hinata could only nod as Kenma walked off towards the bathroom.

Goosebumps broke out across the skin of his arms, chasing the memory over his whole body. It was like he was transported back in time. With one phrase, he was living that moment all over again. He could almost smell the leather of volleyballs, hear the unique echo of shoes in a large gymnasium, and worst of all, he could still feel the sting of defeat stapled through his heart.
He supposed he had a lot of practice feeling that particular sensation.
