Summary
Trauma did funny things to people, Ranboo found.
He saw it in himself whenever he saw any reference of repressed memories that seemed to be building up in the back of his mind, threatening to all come loose and bury him in an ocean of horrible forgotten events that could break him in an instant.
He saw it in Tommy whenever he took damage, how he would panic and flee even if there was no danger because he was far too scared to remain when the threat of death was too horrifying to grasp, especially a second time.
And he saw it in Tubbo whenever loud noises or Jshlatt were involved, how the boy shrank in on himself and instantly went quiet and submissive, and how he clung so tightly to those he loved at the slightest hint of danger.
Ranboo knew that he and his friends had been through some heavy stuff, but he and Tubbo never really talked about it. They both had their secrets, and that was fine. He didn't want to push Tubbo to talk about things he wasn't comfortable with, and in his case, he couldn't physically talk about a lot of what had happened anyway. However, Ranboo had a feeling their buried trauma wouldn't remain in the past for long. A storm was brewing; the only question was when it would hit.

Summary
To be honest, Sam was pretty pissed with, well, just about everyone. He had stood by and watched as person after person mistreated, abused, and abandoned Tommy, and he had finally had enough. Sam was one of the few people who actually seemed to see Tommy as he truly was, a traumatized child in need of love and protection, and he would be damned if he couldn't at least give that to him. Tommy deserved the world after all he had gone through.
He was determined to be there for him and pick up the broken pieces, but Sam had no idea just how broken Tommy was until the boy began opening up about everything. He had thought that exile was bad, and truth be told, it was. It turns out, that was just the beginning. And as each layer of trauma and repression is peeled back, Sam begins to see the real Tommy shining through, bit by bit, and it's a beautiful sight to see.
It's a slow, painful process though, and a bit overwhelmed and unprepared, Sam finds he has his work cut out for him trying to help the damaged teen. Luckily, he doesn't have to do it alone. It turns out, Tommy has a village of people out there willing to love and support and protect him. If only he could help the boy see that for himself.

Summary
Tommy had a feeling that once he entered the prison for the last time, he might not come back out again. Call it a premonition, a prophecy, or just a gut feeling, but he knew that shit was going down. Fate was pulling the strings, and it was leading him right back to Dream.
His captor. His abuser. His worst nightmare.
Tommy isn't afraid to admit that he hates Dream. He isn't ashamed to admit he's terrified of the man. But he has to be strong. He can't lose himself to Dream again. He can't give up now, not when he's so close to the freedom that closure will provide him. Well, that's granted he lives another day.
And then he finds himself trapped in said prison with Dream. Alone, in a cell, with the one person who had caused him the most pain, misery, and trauma. Tommy knows that he's going to die. He's not an idiot. He's not naive. He knows his time is limited, and he won't last much longer. But if he's going to spend his last living moments with the man who manipulated and abused him to the point of no return, he might as well make every waking moment a living hell for the other man while he's at it. Tommy figures it's the least he can do for his friend.

Summary
Quackity knew his and Schlatt's relationship wasn't healthy. He knew it was tearing them apart. He knew that Schlatt didn't truly love him. And he stayed anyway. Because idiots will do anything when they're stupid and in love. But when Schlatt finally crosses the line, he knows that it's time to do something. He can't stay in this highly toxic situation anymore. It's time to ask for help. With the assistance of those who love him, he learns to overcome past trauma, open up to people he trusts, and move on with people who he knows will love him and treat him like he deserves. Finally, after all the pain he has gone through in his life, Quackity can find peace and happiness with those he loves.
A collection of Hurt/Comfort one-shots, all Quackity-Centric, because our boy deserves therapy and I'm gonna get him some goddamn therapy. This is in the same universe as the rest of this series and their one-shots. I just noticed that a lot of people want some Quackity fics, and I was more than happy to supply all with said fics. The war's been going on for a while now. Every day a new battle to be won, or lost. Tommy knew that the war couldn't go on forever. Eventually everything would have to come to an end, the conflict wrapped up tight with a neat little bow. With Wilbur leading the fight and so many others by his side, Tommy knows that they are bound to win... right? Of course they would win! They had to, because if they didn't, L'Manburg would fall. He would lose his home, his family, his friends, everything. He was liable to lose his life, too.
Nobody told Tommy winning a war would be easy, but no one told him it'd be this damn hard either. He was trying to be brave and stand strong, but he was just a kid! He knew nothing of war! His greatest concern before this point was squabbling with Tubbo over who was the clingiest and collecting new building materials for his house. Tommy didn't ask to be a hero. Heck, he didn't even ask to be in this fight in the first place! But when your brother sets out to build a country, you had to stand by his side, through thick and thin. And if the thin happened to include a war for independence, so be it. He trusted Wilbur to guide them to victory once and for all. Tommy wasn't scared. Really.
