Summary
The Darkside was once a relatively predictable place. It was a dark, desolate section of the mindscape made up of treacherous, maze-like corridors that constantly shifted and changed. That was just the way it had always been. It was the home of the damned and the destitute, sides who were too ‘dark’ to make the cut and live in the light and warmth of the Lightside, left in the dark to die. That was just a fact of life. Deceit was the leader of the darksides, the father figure figment responsible for keeping them all safe. He was an immovable force meant to stand strong no matter the weight of his burdens.
Deceit had grown accustomed to the inevitable predictability of life in the Darkside. However, everything changed the day he stumbled upon a young boy hiding in the inner veins of the Darkside, in need of rescuing and a place to call home. Deceit has never been one to trust freely, but he can’t help but see himself in this boy. They both have experienced intense trauma that has forever changed them. They both have scars and wounds that refuse to be buried in the past where they belong. And they both must face their issues head on and rely on others in order to overcome their trauma and heal their broken family.

Summary
When Patton wakes one morning to find Deceit, of all people, knocking on his door, he is more that a little surprised. He is even more so when he discovers that all the sides have been turned into children apart from the two of them without any obvious cause or warning. Chaos ensues as the two must gather the child-like sides before they get themselves hurt or worse, and then they are forced to make a choice. Watch over them together, or alone.
Forced together by fate, the two sides decide to work together to take care of all the sides, attempting to do so without ripping each others' heads off or losing a kiddo in the process. At first, Patton does not trust the snake-like side and tries to keep his distance as much as possible, but as they spend more and more time together, he begins to wonder if he is truly right to fear Deceit, or if his prejudices against him were less justified than he once thought.
And once their time together comes to a close, will he allow the mysterious dark side to slip away into the dangerous realm of the Darkside once more? Will he let things continue on as they once were without a second thought, or is he finally willing to let a few more sides into his famILY after all this time?

A collection of short stories and one-shots based around Sanders Sides. This includes a variety of ships, relationships, AUs, and headcanons. Warnings will be placed above each chapter to protect the reader. Also, a little heads up, there's a lot of Remus angst. Like... a lot of Remus angst. A majority of the first ten to twenty stories are probably going to contain Remus angst in some capacity. Sorry if that's not your thing, but according to my brain, there isn't nearly enough Remus angst in this fandom, and I'm apparently trying to make up for it subconsciously, so I hope you enjoy. Summary
After saving Dazai, the agency now has to deal with the fall out. Mori is pressuring for the use of that favour, Murakami and Ryu are still on the loose. Suspicions are being thrown around. Ranpo's just sat watching it all eating some snacks. Kunikida makes some important realisations. Atsushi is acting like a pet with separation anxiety, and overall Dazai's just there listening to the chaos occur.

Dazai has his back to the door. Chuuya is waiting for him, he’s staying put, he locked the door to keep people out instead of Dazai in, he’s being patient, but one look at his face and the brunette knows immediately that this will only happen once, and his ex-partner will spend tonight crying at the bottom of a bottle if he leaves.
Again.
The thought appears and promptly nails itself into his head. He didn’t want to leave Chuuya four years ago, he hated it, every day he was tempted to go back for Chuuya, only for Chuuya, and damn the consequences. It was only Odasaku’s dying wish, that Dazai now recognises as a plea to save himself from his own destruction, that kept him away. But no one is laying bloody and dying in his lap this time, asking him to go (– go, please, save yourself –).
So, he stays.

Soukoku that thinks the other hates them while being madly in love with each other.
