Drunkenly, Hayden had confessed that he wished they'd gotten along sooner and Shane had turned his big, brown Bambi eyes at him in full force, and said he'd thought they always had.
He must've made a face because Shane had rushed to assure that, either way, Hayden had never treated him like the others did and neither of them had the words for it but they both knew what he meant.
They'd ended up crying about the power of friendship or something equally moronic because Ruby and Jade were on a My Little Pony kick and alcohol made them emotional.
