What if you wanted to journey with the person that knows you the least/most, and the Universe said "sure! but watch out :D" and hit you with the "forget how to understand Vaugardian and also you can only speak your native language thus making your life infinitely more difficult and also you have to do this while wearing your old face" beam.
Loop and Siffrin will have to navigate through this new dynamic together, and they struggle a lot more than they'd like to admit. Not to mention they're not alone. Their friends are here, too.
For better or for worse, the curtains open once more, and the play begins anew.

You're not stupid. You can see the way stardust has been acting lately. How he lights up just a little more when he sees you under the tree, starts walking just a little faster, how their smile gets just a little more real. The way he ducks his head to hide in the collar of their cloak when you call them stardust, as if it’s a sweet pet name and not an inside joke for an audience of one. The light dusting of blush that rises to his face when you say something that implies you might care about him, even just a tiny bit.
You really should try and discourage their feelings. They'll fade eventually anyway, and it'll be easier for both of you if you just. Make him stop liking you, rather than waiting for it to happen on its own.
You can manage that, right? How hard could it be?
