Summary
Wilbur stared at the man who stood next to him. The falling snow was landing in his dark hair, and it looked like stars lighting up the night sky. His posture was not uptight as it usually was, his hair slightly messy. For once, he wasn't fighting to look put together. For once, neither of them were playing an act. They were simply existing in tandem.

Summary
For the moment, Quackity is content with being on his own; the fewer people, the more there is for everyone to go around. And if it’s one man on his own? Well, everything he finds is his.
He doesn’t need anyone, anyways.
OR
Quackity is alone, after the world fell apart due to a zombie infection. That is, until he meets Wilbur.

Summary
Wilbur is the proud owner of The Soothouse, a well-established, cozy coffee shop with his two teenage employees, Tommy and Ranboo. He definitely does not feel threatened by his main competition across the street, Las Nevadas Coffee, run by the most insufferable prick who's determined to push a themed cafe.
He certainly does not feel strangely known by the man he despises the most. That would be ridiculous.

Summary
The priest of the church has his back turned away from Wilbur’s approach. He lights a row of candles without a single inclination he knows Wilbur is there, but Wilbur is certain that he does. Phil and he have sat in this little town for nearly a month now, and while Wilbur has not made himself a social pariah, he has spent more time at the church debating theology with the good Father than socializing with the masses. The masses do not matter to his plan. They may even inadvertently benefit. But at the end of the day, they are nothing more than an afterthought. What matters is their priest.
He exudes a different flair than any priest Wilbur has ever known. The heart of their little town, Wilbur would say. With his open-door policy and bold sympathy for sinners, with his tight-lipped smile and carefully-chosen words, with a face meant to appeal to saints and sinners alike, well, he has certainly made himself the heart. Painstakingly so.

Summary
"You've got some real fucking nerve, Soot. Showing your face back here," Quackity says. "I was just making plans to tear down that shitty van of yours, actually. Thought you'd finally fucked off somewhere and died."
"Your wish is my command," Wilbur hums, letting out a small noise of victory as his cigarette finally catches alight. He takes a drag and pushes himself to his feet. "How about we take this inside? I've got some things to say, then I'll be out of your hair."
"No." Quackity stalks forward, lips twisting into an ugly sneer. "No, Wilbur. Get out of my fucking city."
-
Wilbur apologises to Quackity. It goes about as well as one might expect.
